New colour & pattern of the ReadingMate.

I'm so proud of myself!
I made the readingMate rubber stamp. Can you see how small the words I've done are? I forgot "full stop" but I think I've done it well enough. I focused on enjoying doing it, It's a procedure to break my mental block.
I think the hand carved rubber stamp is better than the printed one. Don't you think?
Hooray!!!!!
Rubber stmps!
I shoud admit that I have a whole kit to make rubber stamps from Japan because I am always fascinated by stamps and prints since i was little, but somehow I had a mental block to make it. I did not know why. Drawing, painting, felting .... No problem. However, when it comoes to rubber stamps my mind shuts down and my hands froze.
My friend Riyo makes her rubber stamps so freely (that's what I see) she even mentioned it's like a therapy.
I envy her.
I knew I would be a person who enjoys making rubber stamps.
But when?
Why ---
Because I couldn't image myself using the rubber stamps I made. To me that's a very important point when I make something. If I use it I believe someone in the world also would like it. If I use it, someone in the world also would use it. You know what I mean? That was my mental block. So. I decided to make the stamps that I USE. Sent from Ako's iPhone

White tulips, Swiss cheese coaster & new products
It was a little productive day today. I was talking to my mum in Japan with skype phone using my iPhone+earphone (how handy is that!) meanwhile I could make Swiss cheese coasters.
My mum has no clue about felting so I sent some products as gift last week which she recieved and looking at them while I was explaining what felting was. Still difficult to let her grasp the felting procedure. I'm not sure if she completely got it. I should make some video and send it over (my mum doesn't use computer at all).
Anyway she loved my scarves and coasters and readingMate.
I haven't told her that I've been doing felting for a while because she's always worried when I started a new thing I don't blame her because so may times I proved her that I'm changable and won't stay with one thing, so I have to wait untill I can say "I've been doing this for xx months I still love it! " Then my mum is happy and I'm happy because I don't have to listen her saying "what if..." stories. :-)

Small mantis on bacon
This is I found this morning - a dead small mantis on my bacon coaster. I haven't seen a mantis for a long long time and I wonder how and why on earth it came in my room and had to die on my bacon coaster? Poor little one :-(

I love my Chai tea!
This is something Mike and I are hooked with... "Chai Tea". The Chai Larte is very popular here in Australia. Any cafe would have it in their menu. This is something I missed so much while we were in UK. I believe Chai is from India and so many immigrants from India live in UK somehow Chai was not popular drink there l felt. My morning will start with a cup of Chai!

Visiting the craft show
I'm visiting the craft show which started from today till Sunday.
I noticed that there are more felting products than previous craft show which is very good.
I bought a few ribbons for my ReadingMates. :-)
The wool yarns are very exensive to buy.
Things caught my eyes are a small iron and a scarf made of the different kind of yarns but it was sewn by sewing machine not knitted.
I wanted to buy the white thin cloth which was dissolved by water. Can't find it.
