A hand carved rubber stamp
I have bought the set of hand carved rubber stamp kit from Japan a while ago and haven't really try them yet. I made a stamp of my logo. I was not very hard but I feel I need to do more practices to have my confidence.
The good quality ink is very important. I will buy some from Japan when I came back from UK in January.
Mike(my husband) and I will go to UK between mid December and mid January. Meanwhile all my net shops are closing.

Making more eyeballs!
I did not know how therapeutic to make eyeballs until I start making my "Mate" products. I believe that the art/craft people would sooner or later to improve their ability to use anything for everything to meet their needs of their art works. I use many kitchen tools for my felting (above img: the ice cube maker ) What is your strange and useful tools?

"ThNew! "The Pricess and the pea" Paper weight.
This paper weight is particularly made for the paper napkins. As u see in the second photo a pea can be under the napkins like its story. The pea is attached to the princess by thin thread so it won't be lost easily. The inside of the princess is a soap so it has a nice gentle fragrance. You can buy it at the Glebe market on Saturday this week!

Just put it on your desk / table make u smile. Use it as a paper weight I particularly like it on the pile of paper napkins on the dining table. A soil part is a soap in it so it has a nice gentle fragrance. U can buy it on the Glebe market on Saturday this week.

WoolLights
I have been struggling to find a right candle glass I can put in the wool shell. Its height should be more than 6cm so the candle flame wouldn’t come out of the glass. Even though wool generally wouldn’t catch the flame (amazing!) it’s safer to use one with certain height. Then it should be a cylinder shape. I found them at IKEA. It was not candle holder but a drinking glass. I was so happy when I found it. Didn’t cost much either.
I used a sanding machine when I made this it helped me to save a lot of time

A Great sale of wool yarns at Spotlight in Belrose
I went to the Spotlight yesterday to get a small thing and ended up to buy a huge bagful of many kinnds of wool yards which I will be able to use for my felting. They are just a half of the original price, it' s incredible!!! I am always looking for the nice colors of wool yards. The image is one of the 100% merino wool yards I bought which is beautifully died as gradation and thin and thick texture. I am going to use this when i make the candle holder sculpture... also Nunofelt scarf as well. Sooooo exciting!

CupMate :: My new product!
I am so excited about the new product I made this time because I love it and use it everyday.
It is hard for felters to make something you can sell in Summertime. The CupMate is the one you can sell and use it all year around.
I am making a lots of color variations. This will be on the shop very soon too.

Felted Postcard + Candle Holder
I made this new product. It's a felted postcard (a felted picture sheet and a paper card are jointed together), you can use it as candle holder as well. I really like the look of the felted picture casted by flickering candle light from the back. It's bit like a shadow picture. The nostalgic feelings. What do you think?

Making stocks of the Fried Egg Coasters
Because I sold a quite few of the fried egg coasters at the market, I need to make more stocks of them. I am really enjoying the procedure of making them, listening to the podcasts and wondering about those beautiful people who bought my fried egg coasters how they enjoy showing them to their friednds and laughing about it.... These fried egg coasters would at least make people smile. :-)

Shibori Dye Workshop (Tie Dye)
This is one of my favourites. using plastic pegs. I just love the effects-shapes and gradation colour... and sooooo easy.
I loved this scarf my teacher made. simple and modern oriental. Even though you use the black dye, you can get the rusty brown colour here and there which I feel wonderful!
using 2 rubber bands to tie twice and make interesting patterns. I feel those patterns are pretty much oriental taste.
One of my favourite skills, the flat buttons inside and tied with rubberbands. I used the marbles but I prefer the flat buttons because they make clearer circle patterns.
If you leave the buttons with it untill it's completely dry, it will make 3D effects. But I don't like to use this for my scarf somehow.... i don't know... I like smooth scarf than bumpy ones.
There you go, putting in the black dye pot.
This is one of my favourite skilles.
I used string to tie my wool scarf around a plasti ctube.
I used the dye on 3 kinds of fabrics. All of them were very white.
1. silk
2. nuno felt (cotton + wool)
3. wool
Because the dye we used that day was only for the protein base fabrics, so I cannot dye on the cotton. However, when I dye one the cotton + wool fabric, the very interesting result came up.
Here are 3 kinds of techniques I used on my coaster.
1. using pegs.
2. using rubberbands.
3. using strings.
My favourite one is pegs, so easy and almost you won't make mistakes.
The hardest one is the one with strings, as you see it's not so clear ... this suposed to be shape of heart ..
